On November 21, 2017, the Board authorized a comment letter on the draft State cannabis emergency regulations; include comments regarding cannabis temporary events.
Summary of Request:
Assemblyman Wood introduced AB 2641, which allows the Bureau of Cannabis Control to issue an event license to venues expressly approved by local jurisdictions and authorize temporary cannabis retailer licenses to licensed cannabis manufacturers or cultivators for cannabis events. AB 2641 is consistent with the 2017 Legislative Platform and previous Board recommendations to the State regarding cannabis events.
