The Board has received regular updates on the Mental Health Transition since March 15, 2016.                                          

 

Summary of Request

The Health and Human Services Agency has prepared an update on mental health services as overseen by Behavioral Health and Recovery Services. This update will report on the County’s obligation to provide Specialty Mental Health Services, and the duties of Redwood Quality Management Company as the Administrative Services Organization for both Children’s and Adult’s mental health services. This report will show the actions taken to expand crisis services and housing options for mental health clients, the accomplishments from 2016-17, and the services to be provided or implemented in the coming years. The Board will be updated on contract expectations and the plan for a new Request for Qualifications, as requested by the Chair on June 20, 2017.
