Approve Agreement with National Training Consultants in the amount of $54,600 to provide employment workshops for CalWORKs Job Services participants for the period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2020; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Health and Human Services Agency, Employment and Family Assistance Services is contracting with National Training Consultants to create the curriculum for, and facilitate, two workshops: World of Work job retention workshops in Ukiah and Willits; and Building Confidence job skills workshops in Ukiah. These unique workshops specifically aim to assist and motivate CalWORKs participants to seek employment opportunities, prepare for the workforce, and make skilled decisions which lead to employment and employment retention. National Training Consultants will also assist CalWORKs Job Services staff with trainings, development and evaluation of the CalWORKs program, and case conferencing for clients' progress.
