Summary of Request:
Healthy Mendocino began as a health needs information website and continues to evolve as an effective advocate for improved community health. Healthy Mendocino collaborated on a Community Health Needs Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan which led to the formation of five Action Teams focused on the areas of Childhood Obesity and Family Wellness, Childhood Trauma, Housing, Mental Health, and Poverty. Healthy Mendocino is funded by diverse community partners, including the Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency. Healthy Mendocino has requested this opportunity to update the Board of Supervisors and the community on its goals and progress toward achieving those goals.
