PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 20, 2017, the Board of supervisors approved an outdoor festival application for Kate Wolf Music Festival.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:

ALTERNATIVE ACTION/MOTION:
Pursuant to Mendocino County Code 6.16 approve the application for the Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival, sponsored by Back Roads Productions LLC, to be held June 28 - July 1, 2018 and authorize the Tax Collector to issue an Outdoor Festival license. The Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival includes camping, live music, and provisions for food and alcohol vendors. The event will be held at Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, the principal location being 50350 Highway 101 in Laytonville, California. The event may draw up 3,500 attendees including staff and performers (over the course of the weekend).

The Tax Collector has compiled the information required to be submitted with the application, attached to the agenda for reference, and after finding it to be complete, submits the application to the Board for approval pursuant to section 6.16.040 of the Mendocino County code.
