Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
Amendment BOS 18-20 was approved by the BOS on February 27, 2018 to add $350,000 to the original agreement with Trinity Services Group, Inc.
Summary of Request:
The Inmate Commissary Services and Inmate Banking Services went out for Requests for Proposal (RFP) on February 20, 2018 and the RFP closed on April 23, 2018. There was one proposal received and it was from Trinity Services Group, Inc. (the current agreement holder). The current Trinity Services Group, Inc. agreement expires on June 30, 2018. The renewal agreement is currently being negotiated under the RFP process and it has been determined that additional time is needed to accomplish the task. This second amendment to the original Trinity Services Group, Inc. will allow the necessary time for the negotiation process to occur while maintaining the commissary and banking services for the inmates at the County Jail.
Alternative Action/Motion:
Return to staff for alternate handling.
