PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On December 19, 2017, January 9, 2018 and January 23, 2018, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors provided direction to staff to review certain aspects of the Cannabis Cultivation and Facilities Ordinances and report back to the Board with proposed amendments. The Planning Commission reviewed the changes at its April 5, 2018, meeting, and recommended that the proposed changes be adopted by the Board of Supervisors, with modifications and suggestions as specified in the Commission's resolution. On May 8, 2018, the Board of Supervisors had discussion on these changes and gave additional direction to staff.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Representatives from the Department of Planning and Building Services and the County Counsel's Office have prepared the attached agenda packet discussing the proposed changes to the cannabis businesses facilities and cannabis facilities ordinances.
