Approve Agreement with Redwood Community Services, Inc. in the amount of $186,400 to provide specialty mental health services at Haven House for the term of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
As part of Mendocino County's obligation to provide specialty mental health services, Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services will contract with Redwood Community Services (RCS) to support clients living at Haven House. Haven House is a supportive living environment for clients who have been court-ordered into Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) or who require treatment under the Lanterman-Petris-Short (LPS) Act. Staff at Haven House support residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and provide services that include: behavioral health services (i.e., individual therapy, individual and group rehabilitation, care management, and crisis support); medication management; assistance with developing greater independence and stability; and connecting clients to other supportive services as indicated in each client's treatment plan.
