Approve Amendment to BOS Agreement No. 17-079 with Vista Pacifica Center increasing the amount from $132,000 to $192,100 to provide residential treatment services for Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services clients in Fiscal Year 2017-18; authorize Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Vista Pacifica Center, located at Jurupa Valley, California provides secure residential treatment programs and offers a broad range of services to adults requiring a structured environment due to mental health challenges. Levels of care include psychological rehab support, residential and health care needs, life skills, and programs to promote the recovery of clients for independent living in the community. The goal of the program is to transfer clients to a less restrictive residential setting as soon as they are medically able. Basic daily rates for services vary from $60 to $150 depending on the provided level of care.
