Approve Agreement with Anderson Valley Unified School District in the amount of $54,700 to provide Mental Health Services Act, Prevention and Early Intervention Services for the term of July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019; authorize Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Summary of Request

Anderson Valley Unified School District will provide Early Intervention and Prevention Services as part of Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) three year plan to at least eighty (80) children or youth. The services provided are to reduce negative outcomes that may result from untreated mental illness and will include outreach, education, mental health clinician services, and community based family support. Services will include treatment and other interventions that promote recovery and improve functional outcomes for individuals in the early emergence of serious mental illness.
