SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Dr. Rebecca Timme provides medical services to detained juveniles in Mendocino County Juvenile Hall. Services include: psychiatric assessments of patients, including consultation with parents/guardians, caregivers, or other outside support of the child; approval of continuation of psychiatric medications for newly admitted juveniles; completion and filing of all necessary forms; consultation with on-staff licensed vocational nurse as needed regarding treatment and/or medications. Dr. Timme provides an estimated five hours per month of direct service with the juveniles for evaluation and treatment, as well as on-call response for non-routine needs.
