Summary of Request:
To ensure compliance with federal and state Title IV-E guidelines, the Probation Department has selected JBI to assist the County with accurate Title IV-E documentation, record retention, quarterly IV-E Administrative Claim compilation, training and web-based time studying. JBI specializes in federal revenue maximization for state and local entities. JBI successfully files Title IV-E administrative claims for Juvenile Probation Departments in seven (7) states and over 100 counties more than 20 of which are in California. They provide a California DSS approved, case specific, proprietary web-based random moment time study (RMS). The RMS documents probation officers time, provides detailed reports each quarter and generates the needed candidacy list for the county. JBI also provides all federal and state compliant trainings on-site, webinars, accurate claim compilation, county-assigned analyst, routine audits to ensure IV-E guideline compliance, and audit support. JBI has Administration for Children and Families (ACF) audit experience and is a Probation Partner of the Chief Probation Officers of California (CPOC). JBI has a proven record of their services successfully passing audits for time study methods and claiming.
