Approve first amendment to BOS Agreement No. 17-068, with Ford Street Project in the amount of $90,000, for a total Agreement amount of $360,000, to provide a Sober Living Environment program for Probation clients extending the termination date from June 30, 2018, to June 30, 2019; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

The Board of Supervisors approved the original agreement on August 18, 2015.  The first amendment was approved by the Department on May 20, 2016.  The Board of Supervisors approved the second amendment on July 18, 2017.  Each amendment extended the termination date by one year and added $90,000 per year to the total agreement.                     

 

Summary of Request

The agreement will provide 24/7 clean and sober supervised housing at Ford Street Project’s Ukiah facility for referred Probation clients.  Furnished living, accommodations, daily meals, supervised vocational/work groups and medication management will be provided for 2,000 bed nights annually at $45 per night per client.
