Summary of Request

The County has received $254,854 in funding from Golden State Finance Authority to assist residents directly affected by the Redwood Complex Fire.  This agreement will allow the County to transfer the grant funds to North Coast Opportunities to be distributed to fire survivors.  Checks will be issued as part of the existing case management process of Mendocino Rebuilding Our Community (M-ROC) - a collaborative public and private partnership among the County, North Coast Opportunities, and Community Foundation of Mendocino County.  Per the grant agreement, checks will be issued to fire survivors who have lost their homes or experienced financial loss that impairs their ability to maintain housing during the fire.
