PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
May 8, 2018, the Chair of the Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen's Oversight Committee, Sheriff Tom Allman, gave an update on the activities of the committee since its inception on January 24, 2018.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On November 7, 2017, the Measure B Ordinance Number 4387 was passed by the voters of Mendocino County and the Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen's Oversight Committee was formed. The committee began meeting on January 24, 2018 and meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month (due to the holiday in December, that meeting will occur the third Wednesday). On May 8, 2018 the BOS received the first update from the committee by Sheriff and Chair Tom Allman. On May 8 the BOS requested that the committee update the BOS each month at their first meeting. The Chair or a designee will update the BOS each month on the committee's activities and progress as requested.
