RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve retroactive amendment to BOS Agreement No. 15-066 with Mendocino Council of Governments to improve the safety and number of children who walk or bike to and from school extending the end date from March 26, 2018, through January 31, 2019, (for new effective dates of July 7, 2015, through January 31, 2019) and maintaining the original amount of $300,042; authorize Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Recently, the California Transportation Commission approved an extension of the Active Transportation Program grant; Mendocino Council of Governments requests this retroactive amendment to extend the end date of the subcontract to match that of the State's grant.
