Adopt Resolution setting a new Noticed Public Hearing date to confirm acceptance of the Mendocino County Lodging Business Improvement District (BID) annual report for fiscal year 2017-18, thereby levying an annual assessment for the BID in fiscal year 2018-19; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The BID was established on May 16, 2006, through Ordinance 4170, which added Chapter 5.140 to the Mendocino County Code (MCC). The Board adopted Ordinance No. 4336 on May 19, 2015 and Ordinance 4384 on June 6, 2017 amending Chapter 5.140 of the MCC. The BID has subsequently been renewed by the Board every year. On June 19, 2018, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 18-089 approving the Annual Report as submitted by the BID Advisory Board, and declaring the County's intention to again levy an annual assessment in the District.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Due to an error in legal notice for the intended public hearing, Planning and Building Services must reschedule the noticed public hearing confirming the acceptance of the FY 17/18 BID Annual Report and intent to Levy in FY 18/19. Also, because this item was approved by Resolution 18-089, which is the method of legal notice, a new resolution must be adopted to set the future noticed public hearing date.
