Approve the purchase of one vehicle in the amount of $45,000 utilizing CalOES Grant Funds for the District Attorney's/Victim Witness Office; authorize the corresponding appropriation of funds (decreasing from budget unit VG 861011 ($27,515), VG 861021 ($7,875), VG 861022 ($1,572), VG 861023 ($366), VG 861024 ($2,792) & VG 861030 ($4,880) and increasing budget unit VG 864370 ($45,000)); and, add vehicle to the County's list of Fixed Assets.

The Board approves fixed asset purchases as necessary throughout the fiscal year.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Due to the CalOES XV Underserved Needs Grant supporting the implementation of a new program, the program got off to a slow start related to challenges centering around filling employee positions. As a result, the end of the grant funding period for 15 VOCA has been extended from March 31, 2018 to August 31, 2018, thereby allowing the program to apply the remaining fund balance towards the purchase of a vehicle.
