PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 6, 2018 the Board received an informational update regarding the appointments to the new oversight board. The County of Mendocino's Redevelopment Agency was dissolved in 2012, and its affairs were concluded under an Oversight Board which was disbanded by the Board of Supervisors in June, 2014 via Resolution No. 14-089.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On February 1, 2012 all redevelopment agencies throughout the state were dissolved and successor entities were established to oversee the wind down of the affairs of the former redevelopment agencies. At that time, local oversight boards were established to oversee the operations of each successor entity. Although Mendocino County's oversight board was disbanded, there remains more than one oversight board within the county (Fort Bragg, Ukiah, and Willits). For that reason, each local oversight board in Mendocino County shall be dissolved on and after July 1, 2018, and replaced by a single County Oversight Board.
