Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
Resolution No. 17-110 (August 1, 2017), Board of Supervisors (BOS) authorized DOT to advertise for bids and award DOT contracts to construct 2016 and 2017 storm damage permanent repairs on various county roads including Mountain View Road, CR 510, MP 14.50.
Summary of Request:
Rights of way are needed for the above-referenced project for repairs that consist of constructing a soldier pile wall with tie backs and sub drains, and to modify site drainage and installing a v ditch, all to repair and resurface the roadway damaged by the 2017 January storms on Mountain View Road, CR 510 at MP 14.50. Mendocino Redwood Company, LLC, owns the property that the County needs to acquire and has signed DOT Agreement No. 180075 and the Grant Deed, in accordance with the terms set forth in said agreement, whereby they agree to convey to the County the said rights of way needed. DOT is now requesting the Board approve DOT Agreement No. 180075 and accept the Grant Deed for the conveyance of real property to the County from Mendocino Redwood Company, LLC.
