Summary of Request:
The Mendocino County Library was awarded the prestigious National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read grant which broadens our understanding of our world, our communities, and ourselves designed around a single Big Read book selection. The Mendocino County Library Big Read will feature Pretty Monsters by Kelly Link, and each library branch will have local author, Jody Gehrman, provide a keynote talk and lead a book discussion. The library will also be featuring events in partnership with the Arts Council of Mendocino County, the National Parks Service, and KNYO’s library hour and much more.
