The Library has previously received grants for book purchases which have been approved by the Board of Supervisors.
Summary of Request:
The California State Library is providing grant money through several Statewide Initiatives. Our library jurisdiction has been approved to obtain physical resources to update and expand the book collections in topics such as: library staff development and partnership building, life over 50, high interest and low reading level books, special needs, mental health, workforce development, science, technology, engineering or math, and more.
