PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The previous MOU between the FRVPL and Mendocino County was approved by the BOS on March 23, 2013.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Round Valley Public Library is located in a building in Covelo owned by the FRVPL. The MOU specifies that the annual amount of $23,984.69 may be increased annually by the California West Region CPI. The County will supply minimal public library staff, library materials and services, and both parties will continue ownership of their respective property located in the building. It also specifies that the FRVPL will be responsible for capital repairs and building maintenance, and that the County will provide janitorial services and supplies. The County and non-profit groups are permitted to use the "Commons" room for events and presentations for the interest of or benefit to the general public at no charge.
