Approve Amendment to standard Agreement MH-18-002 with California Psychiatric Transitions, Inc. increasing the amount from $25,000 to $310,250 to provide residential treatment services for Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Clients effective when Agreement becomes fully executed through June 30, 2019; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or Designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
California Psychiatric Transitions, Inc. (CPT) is a mental health rehabilitation facility located in Delhi, California. CPT provides psychological rehabilitation programs in a secure residential setting to help transition clients to lower levels of care. Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services currently has a fee-for-service contract with CPT to cover potential placements. This amendment provides additional funding to ensure mandated residential mental health treatment for a client recently placed in the facility for fiscal year 2018-19.
