Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

In accordance with County Policy No. 47 the Master Fee Schedule (Exhibit X), can be modified or changed with an amended Resolution to the original Resolution, on an annual basis, or on or before April 1 of each year, to correspond with the annual budget process. The last amendment to the Master Fee Schedule was adopted on August 7, 2018 by Resolution 18-122 and took effect November 7, 2018.

 

Summary of Request

Pursuant to County Policy No. 47, consideration and possible approval of revised fee schedule incorporating modified and new fees is being requested for the Cultural Services Agency, Environmental Health, Juvenile Hall and Adult Probation.  The Executive Office has prepared a memorandum to the Board of Supervisors regarding Proposed Changes to the County Master Fee Schedule.  Additionally, Departmental representatives will be in attendance to present the requested fee modifications and respond to Board inquiry.

 

The Executive Office proposes to streamline the existing fee schedule relating to the departments listed above as described in the Attachments 1-11 described below:

Attachment #2 -Exhibit X, County of Mendocino Master Fee Schedule adopted by Resolution 18-122 and effective as of November 7, 2018

 

Attachment #3 - Resolution 18-122 that last modified Exhibit X - Master Fee Schedule

 

Attachment #4 - Letter from the Auditor approving the fee changes and justifications to ensure they do not exceed cost recovery of the services provided

 

Attachment #5 - Listing of the proposed modifications to the Master Fee Schedule separated by Departments
