PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
In May 2017, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors directed the Department of Agriculture to provide Board updates regarding the implementation of the Cannabis Program.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Executive Office, Treasurer - Tax Collector, Department of Agriculture and Planning and Building Services will provide updates on their respective components of the Cannabis Program including: Cannabis Facilities Business License Program, Cannabis Cultivation Program, state local authorization process, California Cannabis Authority (CCA) and impacts of recently implemented procedures.
The CCA update will be provided by the Mendocino County appointed representatives. The Board of Supervisors appointed the Mendocino County Treasurer - Tax Collector Shari Schapmire as the CCA Board Member and Supervisor Carre Brown as the CCA Alternate Board Member. For additional information regarding the CCA, please see the attached Frequently Asked Questions.
