On October 17, 2017, the Board ratified the declaration. On October 31, 2017, November 14, 2017, November 21, 2017, December 5, 2017, December 19, 2017, January 9, 2018, February 6, 2018, February 27, 2018, March 27, 2018, April 24, 2018, May 22, 2018, June 19, 2018, July 10, 2018, August 7, 2018, August 21, 2018, September 11, 2018, October 2, 2018, October 16, 2018, November 6, 2018, December 4, 2018, and December 18, 2018, the Board adopted Resolution Nos. 17-154, 17-167, 17-173, 17-179, 17-195, 18-007, 18-020, 18-030, 18-043, 18-057, 18-073, 18-085, 18-093, 18-122, 18-126, 18-137, 18-148, 18-163, 18-179 and 18-197 respectively, reaffirming the existence of the local health emergency.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On October 9, 2017, the Redwood Complex Fire started and resulted in significant structural damage of several portions of the county. On October 13, 2017, the local health officer declared a local health emergency under Health and Safety Code Section 101080 due to hazardous materials contained in the debris from structures destroyed by the fire.
