Approve Agreement with Keefe Commissary Network, L.L.C. in the amount of $350,000 to provide commissary and banking services for inmates at the Mendocino County Jail for the term of February 26, 2019 through December 31, 2021; authorize the Sheriff to sign any future amendments that do not affect the maximum contract amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Commissary services are provided to the inmates in the Mendocino County Jail along with a banking component that collects funds from the inmates for the commissary services. Inmates who have funds on their books are allowed to purchase goods and supplies through Keefe Commissary Network L.L.C. This agreement is the result of a Request for Proposal (RFP) process under RFP#SO-2018-001 that was released on February 20, 2018. Keefe Commissary Network L.L.C. was the only responder to the RFP. They hold the commissary contract currently under their former name Trinity Services Group, Inc. This agreement is in place of the previous Trinity Services Group, Inc. agreement; services under this new agreement will begin February 26, 2019 and continue through December 31, 2021.
