Order that no election be held for the January 22, 2019, Board of Retirement election pursuant to Government Code Section 31523 and cast a unanimous ballot for unopposed candidate Julie Forrester, General Member, 2nd Seat, to complete the remainder of a three year term ending November 30, 2019.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On September 19, 2017 the Board of Supervisors ordered that no election be held on October 2, 2017 for the Board of Retirement and a unanimous ballot was cast for incumbent candidates Kathryn Cavness, General Member, 3rd Seat, Tim Knudsen, Retired Member, 8th Seat, and Richard Shoemaker, Alternate Retired Member, 10th seat, for the three year terms beginning December 1, 2017.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Candidate Julie Forrester, General Member, 2nd Seat, is unopposed for the January 22, 2019 Board of Retirement election. Therefore, pursuant to Government Code Section 31523, the Board of Supervisors shall approve order that no election be held and shall direct the casting of a unanimous ballot in favor of such candidate.
