Appointment of the District Director was last considered by the Board on January 2, 2018.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Board of Supervisors shall appoint the District Board Member to the Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District Board of Directors. The Director is a non-elected, public member appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Currently, the Director position is noticed as vacant.
To date, two applications have been received for the vacant seat. The applicants are Mr. Jim Mastin and Mr. James Eddie. The applicants have been invited to an interview with the Board to briefly describe their qualifications and interest in serving on the Board. Following the applicant interviews, staff recommends that the Board consider making an appointment to fill the vacant position.
