SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Community Care on Palm is a skilled nursing facility in Riverside, CA, that is now accepting Lanterman Petris-Short (LPS) placements. Mendocino County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) is mandated to provide residential mental health treatment to LPS clients and is always in need of additional beds in qualified facilities. Current contracts between the County and other providers for similar services are limited in bed availability and BHRS plans to use Community Care on Palm as a new source.

Community Care on Palm will provide mandated residential mental health treatment services to BHRS LPS clients including supervision, rehabilitation, skill-building, medical, nursing, nutrition, social, pharmaceutical, laboratory, and psychiatric services in a secure mental health setting.
