RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Amend the Board Special Assignment Roster to include appointment of Alternate Board Member Director/Representative to Golden State Finance Corporation for the 2018-19 term; and Two Representatives to the Governing Board of the Workforce Alliance of the North Bay.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
Annually, the Chair of the Board of Supervisors recommends Board member assignments/appointments to other boards, committees, commissions, and various special assignments, pursuant to Rule No. 4 of the Board of Supervisors Rules of Procedure. On November 6, 2018, the Board of Supervisors appointed Supervisor Brown as representative to GSFA, but opted to defer appointment of an alternate until 2019.
On October 17, 2017, the Board of Supervisors approved an addendum to the Joint Powers Agency Agreement with the Counties of Napa, Marin and Lake to define the Governing Board of the Alliance, which included the appointment of two (2) Mendocino County Supervisors to the Governing Board.
