Summary of Request

This project will remove hazardous trees on private properties within the Redwood Complex Fire footprint.  MCRCD will conduct public outreach to property owners, assess trees, and provide overall project management.  The goal of the project is to remove approximately 560 trees on private properties.  Trees eligible for this project are at least 10 inches in diameter, 20 feet tall, and within 300 feet of a residence or proposed building pad of a property with a burned residence, and structurally threatening the that residence or building pad.  The project is funded by the CAL FIRE Fire Prevention Grant.
