On August 21, 2018, the Board approved Agreement #BOS 18-125 with LACO Associates for recovery grant research and grant writing services in the amount of $100,000 for the term August 21, 2018 through June 30, 2019                     

 

Summary of Request

The County conducted a Request for Proposals competitive procurement process in June 2018 and selected LACO Associates as the contracted firm for recovery grant research and grant writing.  Thus far, LACO Associates has assisted the County in applying for over 14 million in grant funding from various state and federal funding sources, such as FEMA, CAL FIRE, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife.  Staff is recommending continued assistance from LACO Associates for grant research and grant writing to support the County’s recovery and resiliency efforts.
