Summary of Request

LACO Associates has assisted the County in applying for over $14 million in grant funding from various state and federal funding sources, such as FEMA, CAL FIRE, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife.  Thus far, LACO Associates has helped the County secure approximately $5 million in grant funding for recovery and resiliency projects.  Recently, there has been more projects and grant opportunities available this fiscal year and as a result, LACO Associates has to conduct more grant research and writing than anticipated.  Staff is requesting approval by the Board to increase the total contract amount by $50,000.
