Approve Agreement with Ford Street Project in the amount of $220,600 to provide detox and residential substance abuse treatment services, and weekend drug testing for Family and Children's Services clients for the term of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not exceed the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Health and Human Services Agency, Family and Children's Services (FCS), is committed to excellence in the delivery of child welfare services in a child-focused, family centered and culturally competent manner. Because that commitment includes providing services for client of FCS, FCS requests Board approval of the agreement with Ford Street Project to provide detox and residential substance abuse treatment services, and weekend drug testing for FCS clients.

Ford Street Project, the only detox and residential substance abuse treatment facility in Mendocino County, provides treatment for parents involved with FCS.
