PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The Board approved BOS Agreement No. 17-122 on October 3, 2017.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The County of Mendocino completed a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process during the winter of 2016/2017 to select an Environmental Consultant capable of preparing an environmental impact report (EIR) related to the Integrated Wildlife Damage Management Program and the settlement agreement reached in the case of Animal Legal Defense Fund, et al. v. Mendocino County. Raney Planning & Management submitted the most responsive, qualified RFP and was selected to perform the services. The contract amendment before the Board is for a contract amount increase required to complete the EIR and to extend the contract date to the end of the calendar year.

ALTERNATIVE ACTION/MOTION:
Do not amend Agreement and provide alternative direction to staff.
