PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On March 22, 2018, the Board approved the original agreement (BOS Agreement No. 18-023) with Baron & Budd, P.C., Singleton Law Firm, Thornes Bartolotta McGuire, Dixon Diab & Chambers, and Terry Singleton, Esq. for specialized services concerning litigation arising from the wildfires that occurred in and around Mendocino County in October 2017.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The attorneys have decided to amend their agreement so that they will no longer be jointly prosecuting claims in connection with the California North Bay Fire Litigation. Specifically, Baron & Budd and Dixon Diab & Chambers will withdraw from representing any individual clients in the California North Bay Fire Litigation while the Singleton Law Firm, APC, Thorsnes Bartolotta McGuire, LLP, and Terry Singleton, APC, will withdraw from representing any public entities, including withdrawal from representing Mendocino County.
