On June 6, 2017, the Board of Supervisors approved BOS Agreement No. 17-036.  On November 6, 2018, the Board approved the first amendment to this agreement, as BOS 17-036-A1.

Summary of Request

Ukiah Auto Dismantlers (UAD) has been providing removal and disposal services to the County’s Abandoned Vehicle Abatement (AVA) program for many years.  On November 6, 2018 the Board of Supervisor approved an amendment to BOS 17-036, which transferred the responsibility of the Ukiah Auto Dismantlers, Inc. agreement to Ukiah Auto Dismantlers, LLC, due to a change in ownership of the business.   Due to increased enforcement efforts by the County’s AVA program, an increase in funds is needed to complete the term of the agreement through the end of this fiscal year.  Planning and Building request to increase the total agreement amount by $20,000, for a total amount of $170,000.
