Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

Approval of the 2019-2020 Capital Improvement Budget including allocation of $50,000 in Budget Unit 1710 for Roof Repairs, Various Locations and $100,000 in Budget Unit 1710 for Unanticipated Capital Projects.

Summary of Request

The Boonville Transportation Shop roof is leaking through holes in the transparent skylight panels and the roof vents. Repairs will include replacement of the six panels and replacement of the roof ventilators with a more weatherproof ridge vent system.

Beginning in mid-September, the radio room in the 911 Communications Center began experiencing temperatures above the 68 degree target temperature.  An emergency was declared to expedite repairs as necessary to maintain proper temperatures.  This project is expected to include the installation of a secondary heat pump split cooling unit to supplement the existing system, and provide redundancy.  If necessary to maintain temperatures, the primary system may also be replaced.
