Approve Retroactive Agreement with Integrated Security Controls, Inc. in the amount of $274,000 to provide maintenance of the Mendocino County Jail Security systems for the term of January 1, 2020 through December 31, 20204; authorize the Sheriff to sign future amendments that do not affect the total amount of the Agreement; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
December 4, 2018 The BOS approved a one year agreement for this vendor from RFP#18-13.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
In 2013 an Agreement was awarded with Integrated Security Controls Inc. to purchase, install and maintain the Jail security system. The Agreement included software, door controls, intercoms and an IP Video system for jail security. Subsequent Agreements have been entered into with this vendor since 2013 for regular maintenance of the security systems and replacement parts when necessary. This Agreement will cover regular maintenance of the system through December 31, 2024. The required federal and contractor signatures have delayed the routing process, making this a Retroactive Agreement due to the time spent in routing. This will ensure staff and inmate safety and it also includes software updates, inspections, testing of equipment, warranty work on servers and cameras along with emergency services and phone support. Services conform to established County jail standards to maintain safety for both staff and inmates.
