RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Adopt Ordinance amending Chapter 18.04 of the Mendocino County Code and adopting by reference, with local amendments, selected provisions, chapters and appendices of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations, 2019 Editions of the California Building Standards Code and adopting local findings; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On February 17, 2015, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 4333, which included the adoption of the 2013 California Building Code. On March 7, 2017, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 4380, which included the adoption of the 2016 California Building Code. On November 12, 2019, the Board of Supervisors introduced and waived the first reading of an ordinance to adopt the 2019 California Building Code, and set the date of December 10, 2019, for a noticed public hearing.
