The Board of Supervisors authorized the Museum to allow free admission when presented with a Mendocino County Library card on September 11, 2018: item 4s.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Mendocino County Museum has been offering free admission on the first Wednesday of the month for several years. Staff would like to change the free admission day to the first Saturday of the month in order to entice more families and visitors to visit the Museum on the weekend. Changing the free admission day to Saturday will make the Museum more accessible to a majority of people in the County. The Museum Advisory Board recommends this change.
