10/22/19, Item 4(o), Approval for HHSA to submit letter to the California Health Facilities Financing Authority evidencing Mendocino County’s intent to use Measure B Mental Health Treatment Act Funding, along with $500,000 in Mental Health Wellness Grant Funding, to develop a Crisis Residential Treatment Program.

11/19/19, Item 5(d), Contract 19-1084 with Nacht and Lewis was conditionally approved by the Board of Supervisors pending Measure B Committee approval.  (Measure B approved the contract 12/18/19).                     

 

Summary of Request

Mendocino County’s Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) applied for and was awarded $500,000 to develop a Crisis Residential Treatment Program through Senate Bill 82, Investment in Mental Health Wellness Grant, Third Round Funding, facilitated by the California Health Facilities Financing Authority (CHFFA). The CHFFA Board has requested evidence that the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors supports continuing the Crisis Residential Treatment Project funded by CHFFA Grant Funds and being developed at 631 S. Orchard Avenue, Ukiah. HHSA therefore requests that the Board of Supervisors adopt and sign the proposed resolution expressing intention to develop the Crisis Residential Treatment Program at the Orchard Avenue location, as indicated in the Grant agreement with CHFFA.
