PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On January 7, 2020, the Board of Supervisors approved their 2020 Master Meeting Calendar. On February 4, 2020, a suggested amendment to the Master Meeting Calendar was brought forward in open session.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Board of Supervisors has expressed a desire to have a workshop in relation to Latino interests in local government. The Board also wishes to discuss in detail Countywide EMS issues. It is believed that both of these topics can be fully addressed by the addition of a special meeting held from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 23, 2020. It is requested that the Board of Supervisors consider adding a Special Meeting on Monday, March 23, 2020, for specific consideration of the aforementioned items.
ALTERNATIVE ACTION/MOTION: Do not amend Master Meeting Calendar and provide further direction to staff.
