PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On March 2, 2022, the Board of Supervisors gave direction to County Counsel to work with the Mendocino Cannabis Department to prepare ordinance amendments to (1) create an appeals process for cannabis cultivation permit application denials and (2) extend non-cultivation and stay of permit for cannabis cultivators, but directing County Counsel to focus on the tax first approach rather than the licensing first approach.

County Counsel will provide an update regarding progress made on both directives given at the March 2, 2022, Board of Supervisors meeting.
