PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On August 3, 2021 the Board of Supervisors approved an outdoor festival at the Black Oak Ranch Festival Facility for The Days Between Festival. In addition the Board of Supervisors has previously approved many different festivals at this location.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Pursuant to Mendocino County Code 6.16, any outdoor festival with a gathering of one thousand (1,000) or more individual persons for the primary purpose of attending, participating in, or observing a musical or theatrical performance, is required to obtain Board approval. An application has been received for the Hog Farm Hideaway Festival, sponsored by Shooting Star Productions LLC, to be held June 10-13, 2022. The event will be held at Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, the principal location being 50350 Highway 101 in Laytonville. The event includes camping, live music, and provisions for food and alcohol vendors. Over the course of the two day event, approximately three thousand five hundred (3,500) attendees, including staff and performers, are exected to attend. The Tax Collector has compiled the required information, attached to the agenda item, and after finding it to be complete, submits the application for Board approval.
