Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:
By Resolution Number (No.) 21-045 (April 6, 2021), the Board of Supervisors (BOS) authorized the Department of Transportation (DOT) to advertise for bids and award DOT contracts to construct 2019 Storm Damage Permanent Repairs on Mountain View Road, County Road (CR) 510, at mileposts (M.P.) 1.65, 13.95 and 20.00.
Summary of Request:
Rights-of-way are needed for the above-referenced project for repairs that consist of removal of residual slide materials, roadway excavation, and placement of rock slope protection, drainage structures and paving, all to repair and resurface the roadway damaged by the 2019 January storms on Mountain View Road, CR 510 at M.P. 20.00. Albert Lee Williams and Patricia Williams, Co-Trustees own the property that the County needs to acquire and have signed DOT Agreement No. 220004 and the Grant Deed, in accordance with the terms set forth in said agreement, whereby they agree to convey to the County the said rights-of-way needed. DOT is now requesting the Board approve DOT Agreement No. 220004 and accept the Grant Deed for the conveyance of real property to the County from Albert Lee Williams and Patricia Williams, Co-Trustees of the Albert and Patricia Williams Revocable Inter Vivos Trust dated October 27, 1998.
