Approve Amendment to BOS Agreement No. 21-183 with Redwood Community Services, Inc., in the amount of $75,000 for a new agreement total of $125,000, to provide meal and supply delivery services to individuals in quarantine or isolation due to COVID-19, during the COVID-19 pandemic, effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022; authorize the Public Health Director or designee to sign future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, in March 2021, Mendocino County contracted with Redwood Community Services (RCS) to provide meal delivery, medication delivery, and transportation, telecommunication, and trash pickup services for those in isolation and/or quarantined during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the unpredictable nature of the need for these services, effective July 1, 2021, the contract was renewed, extending the end date through June 30, 2022, enabling RCS to continue providing meals to quarantined individuals.
