Approve Retroactive Agreement with Action Network in the amount of $88,000.00 to provide Mental Health Services Act funded programs meeting service criteria for Community Services and Supports Outreach and Engagement and Parent Partners, and Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) Prevention services, Effective July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023; authorize Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Director to sign any amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize the Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) provides funding for the Community Services and Supports (CSS) Outreach and Engagement component program, and the Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) Prevention services component program. CSS programs connect individuals with serious mental illness to the appropriate mental health support programs. PEI programs work with communities to mitigate the risk of development of mental health conditions by strengthening protective factors.
